Scrub-A-Dub-Pug: Two pugs in a tub

Prologue:  We know that several months have gone by with no news from the UtterlyChaotic Headquarters.  That's because it's been, well, CHAOTIC!    Much has gone on, and we promise tell all, but ,dear readers, you will need to be patient.   We return to the blogoshphere with this current event:

PUG SPA DAY

Momma threatened, and threatened that our stank was too HORRIBLE to bear. We didn't believe her, but she finally did it.
Yes, Pug Spa Day. Blech, I don't know what all the ladies are talking about.........OK, well, maybe.

Mom said with the heat this summer, the ONLY way we were allowed outside for longer than 5 minutes was if were got hosed down first.    We got a last minute stay of execution....I mean, washing....when it thunderstormed all day yesterday.

So it was in the tub for us!     Brrr...that water was cold.  Oh, yeah....that actually feels kinda good...

Aw, Mom.......do you have ta use SOAP too?????

"I'm soo mortified, I am SIDEWAYS",  snorted the Foo
Do I LOOK happy?

After several escape attempts,  much scrubbing and a cool rinse......

But the Momma was not done yet.....
extensive FURmination ensued,
until the comb came clean....
there was enough pug hair too....
well, cover an entire pug!

Snorts,
Gen & the Foo

Welcome back, Gen and the Foo! You look very clean and relaxed after your spa treatments! I, too, needed to clean up after a day of rain and then sun and sweat at the air show, so you're not alone!

Hi Gen and the Foo! I'm so happy that you posted cause I finally get to stop by and introduce myself! I'm not one for baths either, but I have to admit that it does help to cool off on a hot day. Can't wait to hear more about your summer adventures.
Love,
Payton

OOOHHHHH what a FABULOUS spa day you had!!!

Tell mom that next time you want the TRUE spa experience in the bathtub with cupcake scented BUBBLES, candles and Enya music with a bowl of lemon water and watercress sammiches waiting for you when you get out.

Tell mom THANKS for taking time out of her chaos to blog for you! We've missed you girls!

Love,

Hi ladies! I'm so glad you're back to blogging. I can't wait to hear all about your summer.

I don't like baths but I tolerate them because it makes Momma happy. And when Momma is happy Tiffy is happy!

What do you do to get so stinky? We get a bath maybe once or twice a year, although we do swim most of the summer. Hmmm. We are doing something wrong if we don't smell like dogs.

OH you look so nice after your baths! I had to go to the groomer on Saturday and Vinny got his first post-surgery bath that day too. Mom said we were ripe. I thought we smelled delightful.

We also got Furminated tonight. Well I did (and I LOVE IT) but not much came off of me. Vinny however is shedding like a beast and he hates the Furminator. Mom is thinking of using a sedative on him.

Later!
